just average, not the worst of our rookies and the the best either. I think you can check his stats out on the WAFL site. Will need to improve if he is to get a game in the side next year.

Bit tough BBgun!!
For a kid moving interstate etc, he had a great season!
He was a vital cog in Subiaco's backline, playing mostly at CHB. He got a premiership medalion to boot, and did a very good job in the GF playing on Anthony Jones!

Will be a good player for Freo IMO.

Yeah, very tough.

Had a very good first year, reputation wise (never saw him play) based on reports and 'best players' lists and stats, he was extremely solid.

2nd best player from the draft after Murphy for us (although Dunn got injured so unlucky for him)

Yeh I agree. Each week he did the job that was asked of him and was solid in the backline. Though he played well, he will really need to bulk up if he is to fill a key position in the backline. He looks like he might take another 2 years of solid preseasons to be considered as a key backman. If he played at the moment, he would be a flanker in the style of thornton.

At 189cm will probably never be a KPP, more of a half back flanker. Plays a similar game to McPhee when he was at the club. Is a long accurate kick but tends to play a bit loose.

well said. needs to bulk up and get fit, to play at afl level. but so do most young players

He's a young'un only just 19. That height was a year ago when he was drafted I think. He's probably grown a few more this year and probably got another yr or two left, could easily be mid 190's by time he matures. Sounds tho hes more likely to be a Parker\Thornton than a McPharlin.

Could he play forward with his kicking and marking, sounds like your a fan Fitzmantle ?
