Has to be promoted off the rookie list first. The club decided not to elect a nominated rookie after Joel Reynolds did his knee. It would take someone to go on the long-term injury list before he can be promoted now.

But I agree, he is a very promising player. A bit of speed in the team can't hurt. Heard him talk about having to improve his skills still but he is certainly on the way.

No need to rush him into the seniors, we would be struggling to fit him in. Another year of solid development though and who knows?

there are a few things to like about him but he really needs to improve his disposal. kicking for goal he struggled to kick from 40m out.

Bollocks. If he's good enough (and I think he is) then there will always be room for him.

In fact, right now on potential future value to the side I'd put him ahead of H, Frank, Callan, Monty, Owen, Charlie, S Hunt and DJ. Plenty of room.

Given he's only been playing footy at all for 3-4 years (basketball background prior to that) I'm happy for him to run around gaining experience in the VFL for now. But if he keeps going the way he is I really hope he gets promoted to the senior list at the end of the year.

I think Davenport knew a VFL GFC player (it was Abletts cousin but can't remember his name..but not a Tuck) anyway he asked the club if Davenport could try out at pre-season to see if he was good enough to get on the supp list last year.

Agree, the thing I really like about this kid is that he can find plenty of ball,has good vision and generally good disposal. From what I saw on Saturday he is already ahead of Tenace.
