Apart from clocking 2.83 s for the 20 m sprint at the 2007 draft camp and being a WA, I've never heard of the guy.

So I don't know.

But apparently

"From what I've seen in the champs and on bigfooty he has a great work ethic, covers a lot of ground, awesome leap and a solid set of hands. Liable to a shank or two but has no trouble roosting it 50+ metres. Can also be a little inconsistent and go missing on occasions. Great size and weight for a CHF (193cm 87kg), and is also a midfield option.

endless potential."

If this is the case, he would definitely fit the bill.

Like the sound of him, Craig would also like his versatility and the whole work ethic thing, only thing that worries me is the whole shank thing, we've got enough skill worries at the moment without drafting them into our team.

I think a few of you aren't reading the results closely enough - 2.83 in the 20m... That's the same time N Krakouer recorded last year!! And this bloke is 193cm & 87kg!! That sprint put him in an elite group of some of the fastest draftees ever recorded.. And he's a KPP!!

Yes, looking at those numbers, we should definitely consider him.. if he's around at our pick. I just don't want to have to see us give up a Vezpremi or similar gun midfielder for him. But then again, he is quick enough to play midfield!!

I personally feel it will be in the clubs best interest to pick up a midfielder with their first pick. We already have a forward taken in this years draft with Walker. With this years draft been noted for its midfielders we should utilise what we can with our first pick in that regard, as we are going to lose 3 of our best mids in the next couple of years. Also at 193cm i doubt he would become a quality midfielder. If he is there with our 2nd pick (unlikely) by all means we should take a look. By the way does anyone how he went in the beep test or his repeat 30m sprints (these would give better indication of his ability to play in the middle).

Don't get me wrong, I like Gourdis but it's not all that amazing.

That was about Luke Livingston's time at draft camp and he's a big player. Brad Moran from North who is 200cm+ had a time of about 2.76.

2.83 is remarkable, only tall I have heard who recorded those speeds Leuenbege and Merrett.

There is NO way the Berger ran 2.83.

2006 20-metre sprint:
Nathan Krakouer - 2.83 sec
Nathan Djerrkura - 2.90 sec
Nathan Brown - 2.91 sec
Simon Hogan - 2.91 sec
Brock O'Brien - 2.92 sec
Shaun Grigg - 2.92 sec
Ben Reid - 2.93 sec
Ben Ross - 2.94 sec
Clint Benjamin - 2.95 sec
Travis Boak - 2.96 sec

The record for 20m at draft camp is Danyle Pearce's at 2.79 but Brad Moran from Kangaroos (200cm ruck) ran a 2.77 at state screening.... freaky- he's 200cm!!

No, he's ours!

We need a CHF damnit, although he sounds very similar to Staker (fast, athletic, good jump).. the only thing that matter is: can he play football? :o

I heard Gardiner was the fastest in his year (or he was the fastest player at the eagles for a while). Don't know how accurate that is though.
