I am really loving the fact that our club targets not only quality athletes but quality people, in any capacity. I have nothing but the highest respect for Hille, an absolute gentleman and very smart to boot.

The popular version of the story is that 2 Essendon players weren't getting injections. Zaharakis because he is scared of needles, and Hille because he was on the long-term injury list. David Hille even took 2 weeks off in May to go to France, so probably not on much of a program.

I heard it was Hille who orchestrated the whole thing. Hird and Dank were innocent victims.
