Hille will cop 1 week IMO. The contact was very forceful, also to the head and was intended with a followed through elbow. To me he will get 2 weeks with an early plea to get one.

Lucky it was Jimmy Bartel whos tough and made it look better.

I was there, in real play it looked like he might get 2, reduced to 1 with an early plea.

But on the replay it could be 1 with an early plea to make it 0.

He jumped before Bartel marked the ball and once he realised he couldn't spoil he cant exactly stop mid air...
 
rather him be suspended for a week or 2 than injured. Warnock will provide good enuff cover for a week or 2.

Hopefully he only gets 1 and just misses the game against freo where he would of got killed by sandi anyway. Wouldnt mind him playing against carlton. Rekon he would be a good chance to get 80 at least against the wanock/kruzer combo tho. Fingers crossed for a round 3 return
 
I think it would be seen as:
reckless conduct
low impact
high contact
Which would make it a level 2 offense,
an early guilty plea would reduce it to one.

Kosi should get 22 weeks going by your guidelines.

Hille jumped whilst the ball was still in mid-air and it was also low impact. The elbow out was the only little concern, but he could say he was only protecting himself as his big body was going straight into big JimmyB. Could get a week, but no more IMO.

Sure, he was in the air before the ball got to Bartel but he followed through and went in either harder instead of easing off.

I too think he's gone, but unsure how long for... Does anyone know if he has any points hanging over his head? Or did any he had from past "indiscretions" expire while he was out injured - that'd be somewhat ironic!! :confused:

Not sure how you can ease off whilst all your body weight is going forward in the air. That's what our club will be saying to the tribunal. He was going forward and in the air, whilst the ball was in the air. His body weight was naturally going forward. The impact wasn't big and I can't remember the last time he was reported.

Maximum of 1 week. Minimum of nothing. Surely.

Just thought I'd say I'm glad the mods have left this thread (and the robbie gray one) open. I think when a major issue happens that affects a large population, it's a nice way to organize the discussion on these player specific issues. Some may disagree
