Awesome. Looks like Daniher will be played down back according to the article

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl/story/0,26576,23626214-19742,00.htmlBut impressive form - he had 18 touches and four goals for the Bendigo Bombers last weekend - and a groin injury to Dustin Fletcher has fast-tracked original plans.

From that I take it he will be a direct replacement for Fletcher. Either that or we will see Mal and Ryder down back as the only talls, or god forbid Johns gets another chance.

I think the first option is more realistic though since Port dont have a huge forward line. Tredrea is the onlt tall forward in their top 5 goal kickers this year. (cornes is in there also, but he isnt a forward, nor is he playing :D) We need to stop guys like Motlop, Ebert, Rodan and Burgoyne.

About time - Myers was drafted with a physical body ready to play AFL, and he's super-classy as a player.

Can't wait to see what he can do in the AFL.

Any word on whether he's likely to play back, wing or forward?

Its intertesting re the physical body aspect - I saw him play for Bendigo and was amazed at how massive he was. He has to be at least 190cm.

Houli and Reimers are getting used at half-back lately, I'm sure Knights will use him there too with a few stints in the middle.

190.7cm last I checked so yeh quite a tall midfield/half back type player.

Considering we saw Johns on Pendlebury, Winderlich in the back pocket & Ryder on the wing last week? NFI. Possibly ruck! :D
