Not sure how much credence should be given to this media report however it is being reported that former number 1 pick David Swallow is looking to return to Western Australia, and Fremantle is interested

Horrible news for Gold Coast if true, I thought he would be a candidate for the captaincy in the next 2 years.

What is his worth considering that he is contracted?

Are Fremantle or West Coast the likely destination for him?

This would be a massive blow to the Suns on the back of the probable loss of Tom Lynch and rumors that Steven May my go as well. If these 3 were to go they have not even bottomed out yet and that's saying something considering how bad 2018 has been.

It's virtually right back to square one again without the same concessions.

Agree with that, it is a bit of a strange one.

Fremantle only have pick 6 and 70 this year, cant see them giving up 6, even with a second back after all the fapping being done over this years draft.

I initially thought the Eagles would be a good fit given his age profile and the fact they are challenging at the moment.

Would suit us but Gold Coast can’t afford any more players to leave. So they will want to hang on unless the deal is nuts.

Definitely right about the media. I guess with having access to so much talent there were always going to be unlimited media opportunities to speculate about trades on a regular basis. Rinse and repeat for the next player.

He would be good for us but we only have Suns 2nd rounder and no 1st.

That won't be enough so he will have to stay put.

Pass will be 27 next year and at that age you would be wanting to get him at a discounted price.
Suns will want top dollar for him , so I see it as a stalemate and he stays and sees out his contract.
