just thinken bout this trade...sprung to my mind...i feel it is fair both ways...davies is a player who is s up and down just lkike rodan..both mite need a change to find that consistency...we need a fast crumber bad???

your thoughts

as much as i think rodan will be a gun player under a better coach i wouldnt do this.

davies has shown a lot more epecially in his last 3 games for us than rodan has all year. id persist with davies for another year at least.

4th round pick or beasy and mckormick

Halfway through the year this trade may have worked.

But now, no way!

Davies last few games have been nothing short of sensational.

Give the kid 1 more year.

As a bloke with no emotional involvement here, I'd say stick with Davies.

He's a already better player, and as hard as Rodent tries, he's as good as he's ever going to get. I think JD will get quite a bit better over the next two years.

I am not sure about Rodan but I reckon there is still plenty of improvement left in Davies.

He is just starting to get his act together and 2005 & 2006 should see him really start to fire consistently with an extra 20 to 30 games under his belt.

I would give up Franchina or Cam. Croad for Rodan though!!!!!

Rodan is so far behind Davies I can't even begin to contemplate a comparision between the 2!

Davies has something special. Very talented. We've only seem glimpses of what he can do. He's not meant to be that quick, although he seems to be able to turn on the afterburners at times - Chris Tarrant and Rivers would concur.

He also has amazing poise under extreme pressure, and his decision making up forward can be sensational. A few nice examples against the Pies and Dees. Seems to be another one of those who are thriving under Pagan. Hope they don't trade him. Might be in for a big season 2005. :)

Agreed. He's got that rare ability to be able to know what's going on around him without having to spin his head around wildly. He stays calm, has one plan in mind and executes it smoothly. The list of guys that can do that is pretty small.
