Sorry if it's already covered somewhere. Hope the big fella gets back on the field soon. It's great having 2 ruckmen on the park. Still, without him, we are still 1 number 1 ruckman better off than last year.

It's easy to roll an ankle, even on the best surface. Hopefully just a mild sprain that'll be right in a week, two at best if they want to play it safe. Gives Josh Walker a chance to play a couple of games.

Just noticed that it's Rizzo who wrote the article on the herald sun.

Chris Scott was asked by KB onthe couch - whether he could and would play the 3 tall rucks in each game - Scott was undecided

As long as Simpson isnt badly injured - will be good to see how the team goes with the 2 of HMAC and Blicavs

And please not Walker - hope they pick another good running player to come in

If they don't pick Walker we won't have a second tall up forward.
We have no option.

Give him the next two weeks off, include the bye after that and he can have a 3 week break leading into the game against Freo where having two fit rucks to take on Sandi is going to be more important.

VC , really do we need to have another tall? Sure we could Walker , and he would give us tall option. Im thinking that would be better adding another mid to get the ball to whoever is forward. At this time Walker has never shown himself as a legit threat when forward at AFL level , sooner or later he deserves a chance I suppose.

Yeah I think we have to go with another tall.
And although I'm not Walkers biggest fan he is the emergency tall so he plays.

At least Walker can run.

You may be right , Im just not for adding a "tall" for the sake of it. Hawkins, Blitz, Bartel , Burbs are all good marking targets .... If Walker gets a go hope he shows some of the VFL form.

Simpson is just too much an important weapon to risk this early in the year.

Thanks Scottland- I heard a rumour but hadn't seen anything factual :( That's bad news for DS. Might be his body telling him to take a rest from that high intensity stuff he's been pumping out for the last 5 weeks! Poor bugger!

Brown Walker Gillies Playfair McCarthy Mensch uuuuuuuuuuggggghhhhh
Unfair to include Mensch in that list??
Thought he had many very positively influential games.
Brown still has time, as does Walker.
