No offence to those posting them, but can we put some sort of ban on Hun articles on our board? I'd hazard a guess that 80-90% of people can't access them so there isn't much point in posting the links.

Thanks for that link Scodog it is one of the better articles I have read from HS and it really is a quite a warts and all story,I must admit I have thought from
Beams persona that he did not care to much about things and I would not have been surprised for him to have left us as he gave that impression.

After reading those 2 articles about beams I find myself liking him a lot more and thinking he is a more loyal bloke than I thought and I am really glad that he would like to be a Pie for life,great stuff just what this Pie for life fan wants to hear.

Ps It was great to hear about playing and winning for "Bucks" it did,nt sound as though he had many problems with the coach and he was also quite postitive about "Clokey" staying.

2 really positive stories about 2 of Collingwoods Qld connections made my day and to finish it nicely would a good win over the Lions up here tonight perfect.

This guy is an absolute machine. If he was in a team where he didn't have 2 of the 4 best mids in the comp as teammates, he would have been a full time midfielder his whole career so far and would be widely regarded as an elite player of the competition. Gun.

He's made of concrete as well. Twice he had his head smashed in last night last night and he just dusted himself off and continued to dominate.

Beamsy has been super.

Paul Roos nailed it last night when he said during the commentary that we have the most talented side in the competition.

An embarrassment of riches.

I could not be happier with what I've seen from guys like Beams, Sidebottom, Blair, Wellingham, Goldsack etc.

I looked at his stats. I can see a few low stats games against the saints at the end of the 2010 year but there were games against geelong where he kicked 4 and 3 goals. Overall he had over 500 possessions. Last year, he had that break mid-season and an injury towards the end. Of course, he's only played 60 games....just turned 22...

And then he's given a pivotal role in the midfield and nails it. I'm just grateful that we recruited him..

It's still mindblowing as to how we managed to get both Sidebottom and Beams in the same draft.

What an amazing effort and certainly a little bit of luck too.
