Despite what people may say about the comments, it was good to see some passion and anger from Dean.

Hopefully that is reflected in the playing group, as well as with JT and maybe Scully coming back into the team.

He did acknowledged our contested ball and tackling was poor on Friday, he acknowledged we needed to improve in that area for Essendon.

He also took a couple of swings at the Tribunal and even Dangerfield... that shows me he is unhappy... and hopefully unwilling to accept that kind of criticism.

Do us proud Friday boys :thumbsu:

you need to go to dream world, DB could sell ice to the eskimos, talk about immaturity.

I am past the media lip service - results will be his only comeback.

Im not going to put Bailey in the same category as Frawley but Spud used to jump on those things. It just looked as if he was covering up what he realy couldnt do.

Craig actually showed a bit of spunk on the weekend but only looked desperate.

Hope you do give it to Essendon on Friday though and im looking forward to Scullys return.

When will this torture of having Bailey as coach end?

Sooky la la. Talks cheap, too much media bullshit on this club and ********s like Bailey fuel the fire. I wish that they would just close the doors to the media and let their actions do the talking.

I thought it was refreshing to hear Dean speak strongly and with a vieled agression. He wasn't happy. And nor should he be.

We can bemoan our 'soft' team, and that was true of us on Friday night... but against the Saints we competed well, tackled well and it was just a lack of our classy 1st choice players which cost us in the end.

The problem is consistency, not our overall 'hardness'

as for aussie he's heart's not in it, time to delist both of them

Oh yeah and Aussie is a Darwin boy and I know him pretty well. To say his 'heart isn't in it' just shows how very little you know. :thumbsd:

And I think you're going a bit far saying we are the laughing stock of the competition. We are probably not exactly where we would like to be at this point in the season, but to suggest we are a laughing stock is a bit of a stretch.

Once all our players come back in and we start winning games you'll change your tone.

Yeah and if anyone is a joke of a supporter it's you. I actually support ;).

they had our jumper in the sun today with fragile written underneath it, think about it, thats as low as you can go.
The joke there is the person who takes the Hun seriously.

The lowest you can go is where Fitzroy is today, we're further from that now than we have been for the 20 odd years I've been aware of football, so we aren't doing that bad in the great scheme of things.

The lowest a club currently is would be Port, who have a very uncertain future, a very unstable administration and a very insipid playing group. we aren't that bad either.

The lowest a Victorian club is would be the Bulldogs. They have come so damn close for the last few years only to fall at the second last hurdle. They now have no short-medium term hope of regaining that level of performance. Their premiership window has slammed shut on their fingers, we aren't that bad, we're on the way up, and it looks like we've already passed them as they go down.

We have a playing groupd who, if we get it right, can take us to multiple premierships. We're inconsistant, we're not playing to our potential, but we're young and struck down with injuries. I'd put us 3 years away from seriously challenging for a flag. That's not as low as you can go. That's a future that looks pretty damn rosy so long as we don't shoot ourselves in the foot. Sacking Dean Bailey at the end of the year as opposed to now, supporting Aussi rather than delisting him immediately, practicing patience with your players rather than having a total clearout of the football department and a list wipeout, all these things are unlikely to be seen as the turning points if we sit back in 5 years still in 13th position.

So take. A ****ing. Chill pill.

Yea nah, talk is cheap.

He should have been using this stuff two years ago, now he's using it as a last resort, Bailey knows he's under serious pressure and its finally getting to him.

So long, goodbye, adiós.

Probably right, but if it can spur the boys to a win then good.
