Dear RFC
Could you please do me a favour and sign a pledge that you will not recruit any players who cannot make the grade at any other club.
I’m sick of getting rejects. Why? Because, when reality hits and you find out they can’t make it at Richmond, we’re stuck with them and there’s little you can do with them.
Plus, each and every year as you add another one, just DECREASES our depth.
When they don’t make it – there’s little you can do with them, except keep on paying them good money for mediocre performances and the promise of nothing.
We have too many players of this ilk on our list at the moment – you can’t trade them and you can’t delist ALL of them – which means we’re stuck with them.
Don’t have to name the players – we know who they are.
Make courageous decisions Tiges and go for youth.
