That's an intersting observation. I think we've played them fairly early on in the season the last few years so they've given some kids a taste early.

Is this a interesting coincidence or is there a reason behind this.

Having a mature group , there is more likely to be a spot when we rest for away games?

Is there more pressure at KP than elsewhere?

Do we like to introduce newbie to the travel routine asap?

Have Fremantle been "easy meat" and a good side to blood kids against?

Perhaps its the Freo jumper.
According to some :Purple and violet represent future opportunities, stimulating the imagination and helping people dream of better times to come. Purple can also calm the spirit and settle the emotions.

Sounds like the colour to debut against.

Kids will usually debut early in the season and we've had Freo over there early a lot recently while we are usually light on for KP games early in the season due to developments. Holding back a few of the older/injured players from travelling interstate has aided a few of them too, no doubt.

Could also have something to do with Subi having the most similar dimensions to Kardinia Park out of the other grounds

This. Only logical way of explaining it tbh.

If i'm not mistaken Duncan and Guthrie both debuted at the 'G.
Duncan Rnd 1 2010 vs Essendon
Guthrie Rnd 1 2011 vs St. Kilda

Thanks Varcoe2Chapman
