Anyone see that guy from Estonia or whatever...Erki Nool (nice name). He FOULS on his last discus throw, then he begs and pleads the official to overturn it..and they DO.

And the bastard ends up winning the gold medal, despite all the TV replays showing a blatant foul. Had that foul stood, he would have had zero points in that event and finished completely out of the medals.

Yet another bizarre Olympic turn.

Yeah, but wasn't that because the official only called the foul after seeing it on the scoreboard ? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The officials can't go doing that. If he missed seeing the foul the first time, then the athlete should get away with it...... unless there is a rule for a TV replay.

But, there isn't a rule for the TV replay, (there should be though), so the athlete should have his throw allowed.
