A usual DT problem I'm sure. There are 3 players I want in my team
and of course I can only get 2 this week.

I'm pretty set on getting Heath Shaw into my backline but can't decide whether to strenthen my backline further with McPhee this week or get Johnno Brown for my forward line.

Been thinking about this one all day and will probably toss a coin at this rate.

What do you guys think....?

you probably should name the players you are thinking of trading out to get mcphee or brown. would help ppl to decide which trade is better

Yeah sorry. I'm trading A.Walker for H.Shaw

I then have the choice of upgrading Bock to J.Brown or
B.Waters to McPhee

I wouldn't do either. Surely you must have bigger weaknesses elsewhere.

If I had to pick out of the two, i would go for the Jono Brown trade. Trading Waters? Are you serious? He's just had a couple of bad weeks, and when I say bad I mean 65-75, which isn't all that bad. Keep Waters, get Bock out if you really need to.

I have weaknesses of course. I was just looking to bolster my back and forwards. What would suggest then if I do neither trade?

Backs: J.Bowden, C.Cornes, L.Gilbee, Walker, Waters, Adcock, Boyle (Begley, Ellis)

Mids: Bruce, Cross, Judd, Kerr, Foley and Lappin (Selwood, Gibbs)

Ruck: Sandilands, Hudson (Griffin, Renouf)

Forwards: Pav, O'Keefe, B.Johnson, Franklin, Bock, N.Ablett, Davey (Kosi,

get rid of ablett, but i like your team, in all honestly i think why use a trade when you don't need to?

as others have said - i would be more inclined to trade out boyle and ablett than bock and waters. they can in all honesty stay in your side all year. if u can do a downgrade cash cow, upgrade kosi/ablett over the next few weeks you will have a pretty good side forming up!

Absolutely agree. Upgrade N.Ablett if you really want to use a trade otherwise hang on and save your trades for finals coz with that team youll be in there. Thats a great side.

Yeah I guess I'm suffering from the Newbie habit of wanting to trade every week and trade players that are averaging OK (e.g. Waters - 75) for the current star (Shaw, McPhee etc) and hope to gain 25 points or so a round.
