Terrible, always seemed to cough it up across half-foward, for a team picked for composure and experience, it was abysmal.

I noticed in the votes that Roger Hayden received a few votes, not sure why, turned the ball over a fair amount of the time.

Back to the age argument, it holds weight, however, the likes of Steven Dodd, Hayden, Peake, Schammer and Gilmore, IMO are not capable of consistently making the right decison.

There was one man in that midfield/hal-back line who had any composure and it was David Mundy.

Personally I believe, it is the likes of Mundy, Ibbotson, Mayne and Palmer who should start with Farmer as another option.

Cast Belly and perhaps Heath Black for some experience and it looks alot better.

Why don't you take your independant ass back to the eagles board. We aren't interested in what you think.

No.

You think the players decided to give the ball straight to the opposition, or to put the ball 10 feet in front of the leading forward? Of ****ing course not. Decision making isn't the problem.

So you dont think Decison making was an issue? At all?

Kicking to 2 on 1's or handballing to men in worse positions than the hanballer.

Yes the skills are a huge problem

And thats another area of concern.

Schammer, Peake, Dodd and Gilmore arent players who will get you to the finals let alone win one.

I agree there are some serial offenders when it come to decision making. Gilmore I think is not to bad he probably has an awareness problem when things are at close quarters and rushes things sometimes. I think Dodds is not a decision making problem but more of a disposal problem. Michael Johnson has periods where he is a bit laconic with his disposal. McManus makes afew dumb errors. I think you are being too harsh on Hayden he is one player I like seeing the ball in his hands.

I think number one offender is Schammer just continually makes decision mistakes and he can no longer claim he is developing. I think overall we have a few players who rush things too much ie Peake, Schammer, Gilmore and I hope they sit down and watch Simon Black v WCE on tape. You can just about see is mind ticking over and how he accesses everything. In the players defence Collingwoods intensity was first class yesterday.
