It was obvious just a few minutes into the last that we'd completely switched off and would leave the door open for the Saints, who kicked some good goals to get back into it.

More angry at the first 10-15 minutes of the quarter where we threw away a dominant position, the final few minutes was just a hilarious exhibition of pants shitting poetry in motion.

Oh making your child barrack for the Dees is a form of child abuse and you should get jail time. Horrendous.
Hurt people hurt people.

Seven people in the forward line. When we had the lead.

Lol, the commitment to flooding our own forward line is outstanding.

It’s resilience building, we’re all normal and well balanced people aren’t we?

Good: I picked it.
Bad: Trac seems to be contact averse.
Hilarious: Lyon laughing his head off in the last quarter.

Which dumb campaigner posted a photo of Goodwin’s car on Twitter? That’ll make sure the pressure is off him in the media while they focus on that.

Is that true lol? God there are so many threads to pull which make this finish legendary. I'm glad you guys are taking it in the spirit it should be taken.

Thanks for the collateral damage in this loss Melbourne, i can't enjoy Super Mario 64 again without thinking about this loss
Ooft.

I think I might enjoy it even more, though!

This board agenda against me is reaching crazy levels. You guys are about as credible as a 9 goal Melbourne ¾ time lead.
I wasn't around much the past couple of weeks so dont think I saw you say it. Great minds and all that. He's probably my fav player in the comp now. ****ing loved McLeod, probably my fav opposition player of all time.

Came into the game not caring. Was gardening most of the first qrt, we looked on so started watching. Ultimately I want Goodwin gone so dont care if we lose or get smacked, but prefer watching us kick goals and play well.

I think when Kosi winked before a set shot my sense of foreboading kicked in. Was frustrated but laughing as the lead dwindled. Thought it would be so Melbourne to set another unfavourable record. The end was objectively funny and how we let pretty much the best player in the comp free with 10 seconds after he kicked his 3rd to draw it seconds early is truly remarkable.

I'm checked out but damn 20% of me is seething on the inside and so utterly embarrassed. How Clayton didn't register a score again, the 666 and getting called to reset and still not manning up NWS. The lack of on field leadership is so dismaying. Sack Goodwin -- but the players needed to get their shit together out there regardless of any external instructions.

We just lose in such uniquely embarrassing ways. There is definitely some dejection there about how so many of our champions can let themselves continually lose in such a comedy errors.

Feeling like this guy more than I want to admit

Yeah happy someone else agreed with me eyes, it's that ability to step on the gas in a couple steps and the way he carries the footy as well with the arm in front. If you didn't love McLeod you weren't a fan of footy.
