Just an observation. Not sure if it really is any more than a vanity thing, or perhaps a sort of hard-edged statement, but Geelong's side is starting to become the nudest nut team going around. Chapman has had his head shaved for almost his whole career, Harley has for years, Gary Jr has gone the 60's American marine style and then you have the military short back and sides of players like Selwood, Ottens, Enright etc. Apart from the 'paddle pop lion' in Ling, most Cats have pretty understated hair.

If the likes of Polo, Deledio, Floey, who i think has rather short hair anyway, just went out there and cut it all off, do you think psychologically it will make them appear meaner, tougher and perhaps more intimidating to their opponents? It is a little thing, and in all reality it should hardly have any impact but would it at least show a sort of solidarity within the team? Looking at the Pies game, the Tigers won the clearances 33-23, so getting hands on the ball first wasn't the issue, maybe more what happens to it after the disposal.

Also, in defence of the Tigers, i think the Pies were always going to come out breathing fire, they would have been stung by last year's late season defeat on a Friday night, that ultimately cost them a top-4 spot. No chance of them being off their game yesterday. They will beat other sides by more than 40 points this year.

i will say it again, we have talentless players who cant do anything more than follow an instruction.

Dip sticks lets get this lesson on the road FFS. Play on at all costs means that you dont look for a team mate 3 inches away, just so you look to have followed the ____ing instructions FFS. Like WTF, we have players in space, or a player running into a space and what does the tiger with the ball do? He doesnt look anywhere but who is closest, so he gets "a stat", then watches as the team mate that he gave it to, gets crunched by an opponent, seeing as not only did the opposition know that the give was going to be what it was, but the whole ____ing stadium knew.

In summary, we have no skill hence we opt to hide it, and the wash up is, we then look completely ridiculous. Like what sort of RISK taking is handballing to a teamate who is closest? Come on FFS TW, surely you can see what the world can dude. WTF is going on in that coaches box?

Chappie, Harley and Gazza are all 'follically challenged'.
On Deledio, forget about getting him to deal with a tag for now and get him to apply one. Put him on th opposition's best mid and let him learn.

Because of our losing culture Deledio is scared to make mistakes. Notice that he rarely turns the ball over but in not doing so he plays very conservatively, hence all the handball. He doesn't want to take them on because he sees guys with quarter of his ability like Tuck and Hyde and Tivendale and Raines try to and turn it over.

The guy needs to have more responsibility placed on him. He simply isn't physical enough in the clinches. But he doesn't have much of a great example set to him by the older players. They're all soft.

Brett needs to model himself on Buckley who was great tackler. There are way too many deficiencies in his game. But I still can't get over how Nathan Brown allowed Heath Shaw to dominate the game yesterday. Now there's someone playing unaccountable footy.

He had 26 and 24 possies in the last 2 weeks yet had zero influence on the games.

When he was 17 years old he could have 15 touches and shred the opposition to bits!
