It's harder to hit a long way and produces reverse swing earlier. The Kiwis are throwing to the keeper on the bounce on the square ever time to soften the ball up.
I don't know if anything can be done about it legally but we should do the same.
 
the commentators mentioned that yesterday and they said that nothing could be done to stop it....

maybe australia should start doing it more often
 
Like bowling underarm (which before THAT MATCH, was still legal according to the laws of cricket as set down by the MCC, if the captain told the umpires beforehand), this new tactic is still legal, so therefore it's OK, but to be fair to the Kiwi's, Stephen Fleming has done a tremendous job as captain, and his tactice have really psyched out his opponents.

no doubt, full credit should be given to Stephen Fleming

he's done an awesome job against us all summer and would have to be the best ODI captain at the moment
 
Yes, it's good to see another team start thinking outside the normal for a change, and therefore full credit must go to Stephen Fleming. However, they do need to be careful or else the other team will simply ask for the ball to be changed if it gets too hard to pick up.
