He would be a better option that Spencer IMO from what I have seen (which is limited I must add) but at the least we should keep him next year incase we are a defender down. Pick up another in the draft this year aswell.

Koula is as good as gone. When you're getting 40+ possessions regularly in the VFL but not getting a senior game the writing's on the wall.

I'd be very surprised if H wasn't given another year. Has shown promise at times but had a shocking preparation for this year. He would have to impress next season though to remain on the list. His contract status may be a factor.

Why did Essendon let him go? Seems the sort of player they could use.

Does anyone recall a media report on the rookie draft? Geelong had a pick before St Kilda - Geelong picked Sam Hunt and the St Kilda table said Sam Hunt? Laughed and packed up. No one was sure what it was about.

I heard from a realiable source that Hunt wanted to get out of Essendon the year before last due to lack of oppurtunities.However Sheedy convinced him to stay and said that he would be given more of a chance and would be getting more games. Obviously didnt happen but im glad Geleong picked him up . I would much rather have him over Spencer.
