Who is John Meesen? What has he done, I say sweet bugger all. Hes name gets mentioned and I dont want some who does not contribute to our senior team. I heard from the Adelaide board he has not done anything so why keep bringing hes name up!!!

He obviously has some talent
His performances just smacks of a player with zero confidence and if he regains it we will see what he really has to offer, no point getting rid of him now.
apparently King really rates him and we can gather a hell of a lot from that.

I would say Howat is done, can't stay on the Rookie list and can't see him getting elevated to the senior list

I can see harts going and krak and then we might trade some others but wont delist any more.

Nobody has mentioned Tivendale he is dissapointing. He could still offer something to other clubs. Rnd 2 pick for him. Dont think he is terrys fav either often got a game cause of injuryb to other players.

Delisting symbols of mediocrity

Following March's firm speech about no longer accepting mediocrity (you may have heard that line before, but March doesn't spin) I feel we need to let actions speak louder than words.

Here are some players who I believe could be delisted or traded for whatever we can get:

Greg Tivendale - A good ordinary player, I am not a hater like many of you but he is clearly a symbol of mediocrity.

Pat Bowden - has skills but is not team-orientated. Last week Jackson was in a scuffle and Pat stood by 1 metre away and just WATCHED.

Chris Hyde - on his day is quite good, a bit of a one trick player (the same old side step onto his left..) but he is a mediocre HFFer. We have a million kids who can play his position, including Cotchin

Shane Tuck - Underrated by us fans, but his kicking makes him another, yet smaller, symbol of mediocrity. This guy finishes 3rd in our B+F while playing injured... if we could get a 1st round pick for him (or upgrade pick 19 to top 6) then we should do it. Could be a 3rd rotation depth midfielder in a premiership team, great at clearances while a star midfield is resting. I think we should use Tuck to get Rance.




That is off the top off my head, feel free to comment. Some of these players (not all) should/will be delisted if Gary March is serious about his stand against mediocrity.

And please do not mention Kayne Pettifer, he is in the top 100 players in the AFL and is a very good and passionate Tiger player.

Yeah i agree. Dunno if we could get anything for tivers, hes getting on a bit. I don't mind hyde either, but yeah if we could get something decent for him then..... And yeah don't say anything about pettifer he was really good this year. Tuck I totally on. He is the only player in our midfield just about - except for axel of course - who actually gets it out of the centre. He just gets it and bombs it, which can be good, but the amount of times his kicks go just about straight up in the air is almost pathetic. Also, when he tries to kick short, its hopeless, you know hes going to turn it over, all his short kicks go at least 5 metres too high
Also P. Bowden definitely too team orientated

The coaching staff has said "JON will be the best kid of the lot".

Even if he won't be better than Deledio and everybody else like they think... shouldn't you at least have SOME confidence in the people leading our club?

It is incredible how 90% of our supporters hate JON and think he's crap when the coaches think he'll be the best of the lot. Maybe he will end up somewhere in between but we shouldn't be talking about delisting him FFS.
