So, with 4 players coming back soon who we would assume will make the ones

(mcveigh, welsh, prismall, laycock maybe reimers), not including hurley, daniher, jetta, nash,

and two more on the long term injury list

(gumbleton, hille)

that is probably 6 players in the current team that will have to make way. I know there will be more injuries ( :( ) but, these bottom 6 players have been playing pretty good footy recently

(i'd be thinking, feel free to correct me, dyson, zaharakis, myers, hooker, NLM, houli?)

So these quality players will be languishing in the twos, and when gold coast comes around what are the chances of some of these players being poached? So could this new found depth of talent be a curse, as I would absolutely hate to see any of these players in another jumper after growing to love them (yes even you dyson :) ).

So long story short, who do you think are the players most likely to be poached by the new teams coming in as I would assume we would lose at least a couple.

NLM and Dyson wont get asked.

Zaka is Essendon all the way so he wont ever leave.

Houli, Hooker and Myers should all be playing consistent seniors by the time GC poach players so no need to worry.

We don't have to lose anyone.

The rule is that they get priority access to one uncontracted player from each side.

The rule is also that each club must delist three players at the end of each season, if all our players want to stay and we can keep them under the cap, we won't lose anyone we want to keep. They just take one of the three we would otherwise delist.

Laycock will be uncontracted come 2011.

GC will need an experienced ruckman and with Hale off the table now he will get a perfect opportunity to get more money than he would at Essendon.
