I'm not convinced Headland is all that good. he may well be, but it's hard to judge when he's playing in a side full of superstars and usually playing on a hack. Bring him here and the standard of opponent is going to increase, because the opposition coach doesn't have about 7 or 8 other guys to think about before getting to Headland.

There is NO WAY pick #5 would be accepted as a straight swap for Headland.
He was a #1 pick in the draft AND has now had 4 years work on him, with a great season this year, u think they are going to accept a LOWER pick than they used to get him and take the risk on another player again?
Brown and #5 is prob what u need to give but Brown and 21 MIGHT, except Lethal has said they will pretty much play hardball.

I wouldn't give pick #5 plus Brown. I don't think Headland is worth it. More so given he wants to come home and if he goes in the draft Brissy gets nothing.

Although i'd say your mob would have to give up Kerr to get him, or Wirrpunda plus your top pick.

Why not put in some players that haven't had a good year due to injury and or illness or lack of form.

Players like Luke Toia, Anthony Jones, Clive Waterhouse, etc.

I reckon that they would be all great pickups for other clubs.

Perhaps Freo could throw in Dale Kickett too. Brisbane will want quality picks or players - not fringe stuff for Headland.
