Would have to be one of the best games I have seen him play for Freo, particularly his hardness at the ball.

Actually looked like he wanted to be there.

Keep it up Des.

Yes a very good game by Des. Long time coming lets make it the start of a consistent effort.

P.S. aways had faith in him.
It's good that someone has Ripper, because I've been bagging him a lot this year.

Today I actually stood up and applauded him a few times.

The only problem for Des is that I will personally be expecting that intensity every week, now that I have actually seen him do it in the Purple.

Nice tackle in the last to get the free.

Also did a great tackle a few minutes before that. Held on with one hand and showed a bit of desperation.

Superb performance. Maybe it was because he realises that a couple have to go for Hayden/M. Carr/Farmer, but hopefully we will see him play to that level every week.

I was pleasantly surprised with his efforts yesterday. He went hard at the ball and ran the lines well. All he has to do now is string a few of those games together.

His second half efforts were very good and must give credit where credit is due. Another 5 weeks of performances like that and he will be on my "untouchables" bagging list.

Just showed what happens when you hit the ball hard and put your body on the line.

I agree, he didn't get a lot of touches but his intensity at the ball and contests was great. Plus, i didn't notice any brain freezers this game.
