Yeah we all know it's garbage, but what happens if Bungie decide to make it the next coming of Jesus and then they're like 'lol let's never sell it again, noobs.'

How many 'shit guns' have they offered up for purchase?

Almost all of them have been good, bar I would say Red Death and that is just because pulse rifles still need buffing.

Current repeat offerings are Red Death, Truth (best PvP RL), Suros (best auto), Plan C which is a strong fusion rifle and P&T which the biggest knock on it is that it isn't Ice Breaker so that relegates it to redundancy.

There is a reason that Gjallarhorn and to a lesser extent Ice Breaker haven't been offered for a second time, because everyone owning Gjalla would break the game.

It's not anywhere near in the league of Gjalla or Ice Breaker but I see where you're coming from, I wish I had the coins needed for Ghorn back in the launch fortnight because it's never going up for sale again.

Yeah probably buy that if you have a Titan, it's good armor & should tide your character over until you can get a decent helmet.

Plan C is ok but it's been on sale 3 times & isn't much better than light of the abyss IMO, the random repeat upgrades annoy me the most no hard light & pocket infinity is a shame because I had glimmer ready but will just settle for TLW.

No helmet engram just sucks considering I've now got plenty of motes to try my hand at finally getting a decent helmet after 3 light before nemesis', 2 symbiotes (the week after buying one) & 2 apotheosis veils.

Plan C has been offered twice, it was just that it was offered twice in a row which had people raging. You're complaining about random repeat upgrades then saying that you'll settle for TLW which is a random repeat upgrade.

Plan C is a perfectly fine Fusion Rifle, I haven't had the chance to use Light of the Abyss yet, but that is a new raid drop so I figure that it would compare pretty well anyway. But that's kind of like saying that Black Hammer isn't much worse than Ice Breaker, Ice Breaker is still a damn fine gun regardless of what Black Hammer offers.

Engrams aren't offered every week, so just hold onto your motes for another week.

I know it's been a tough week for you, but it will turn around soon enough. It always does :thumbsu:

A really tough fortnight actually but yes overall that's probably why I'm not feeling so festive over Bungies offerings this week. I bought the warlock gloves last week, have armamentarium & was hoping helm of Saint 14 or obsidian mind was up for sale.

As for TLW I won't be upgrading every gun/armor as soon as they're available because I hate glimmer farming, I did ice breaker & armamentarium that week 2 per week is plenty unless it's 3 I'm mad keen on upgrading.

I'll likely happily upgrade plan c when that's up for upgrade again but chances are it'll be on sale next week :p

I'm off to bed. Hopefully PSN/Destiny will be up tomorrow morning and I'll get a few hours in. These campaigners have ****ed me right up as I have plans later tomorrow then away for a week without PS4 so today and tonight was my only serious destiny time for a two week period.
