That's three after the siren losses in three seasons which is incredible. Out of our last 22 losses, 3 have been after the bell. We were silly to push 14 out of our 18 players into defensive 50. That left the Geelong wingmen on their own and it meant we couldn't force another ball up. Dumb play. The Geelong wingers ran it up and passed to Riccardi.

Bad luck to Carlton today but well done on their comeback in the last term to almost pull of a victory. Putting the umpires aside, that comeback showed great character and as long as Carlton play the kids like Blake Campbell, they wont be on the bottom for long.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Cheers!!

Thanks for those comments SeinDude... I'm glad there are supporters like you out there who don't kick supporters when they are at their lowest ebb. But it still hurts... and it'll take me a long time to get over this.

I'm gonna get a drink. Anyone want to join in?

Nice to see some normalcy Seindude. Go and celebrate your win mate, I would be in the same situation. Certainly better than others who would prefer to dwell on our negatives than their own positives.

I felt for Carlton people today, in a way i have never felt before. Sure, as most of you know the last 6 months my opinion of the Carlton football club has changed. And its had to, otherwise i'd be out of a job, but seeing the boys train through the week, and knowing how much they wanted this win today, and to have it robbed from them after the siren, made me feel really bad for the players especially, and secondly the LOYAL supporters of the club.
Dont worry about the supporters who have been ripping up memberships and so on, theyre not worth having.

Hang in there Blues, theres alot to like about young Wiggins, Livingstone, Campbell and Thornton.
Its not easy going through a year like this one. Believe me i know. It will get better, and the when it does, it makes it even sweeter.
