Tony Greig when talking about Lance Klusener say...

"He only bowls off c*nt" meaning to say off cutters

whoops...

I loved the way Richy was trying his hardest to tell Tony to shut up and get over his obsession with the fact that Steve Waugh wasn't given out and how they went on and on over the ball clipping on something on the way through to the keeper and they have a new toy which shows the noise of ball hitting the bat and they are not afraid to use it.

It was something like a pi$$ing competition:- 'My clipping wave is bigger than your clipping wave'

Best ever was a BBC radio commentator, Brian Johnstone. In an England v West Indies Test about 20 years ago, Peter Willey was facing the bowling of Michael Holding, leading to this commentary gem:
The bowler's Holding the batsman's Willey

Yeah that was a classic.:D

There was also another one when his co-commentator Jonathan Agnew said '..oh Botham couldn't quite get his leg over there..'when Beefy trod on his own stumps.

The two of them disintegrated into a fit of giggles (Jonners was probably about 70 at the time) which went on for ages with no one talking & after that the producers actually banned the two of them from commentating together.

There was a story of a ABC commentator I read about, who described an inside edge that went for 4 as a 'lucky French c*nt' :D :D
It's right though, I've said that about batsmen myself when I was still playing!! :D :p

DIPPER,

I remember listening to some BBC highlights of that very piece of commentry a year or so ago, maybe when it was raining during the Ashes series. That was very funny!!

I reckon Jonathan Agnew is a very good commentator, probably the best of the English lot.
