So explain to me why Chelsea fielded their usual team, rather than reserves?

Obviously they had no intention of trying to win the league cup..

And by playing Forlan, Ferguson obviously had no intention of winning the league cup...;)

Ok so it is the Worthless Cup, but Fergie has hinted he might want to add some plastic to the OT trophy collection.

I reckon we win it and donate it to our pals living in the slum end of the East Lancs Road. Judging from last time they won it, they seem to put a high value on the Worthle.....Worthington Cup.

Considering Diego has been on a goalscoring run of late, of course not.

Fergie has publicly stated he's going for the Worthless Cup, but keep underestimating the great one, as each goal goes in the baggers get quieter.

From the United list, here are Forlan's goalscoring stats:

Last night, he got his 7th goal in 9 starts (plus 17 sub appearances) this season.

He's scoring a goal every 159 minutes. RVN gets his goals every 107 minutes whilst Solksjaer scores every 194 minutes.

Not sure how his time/goals average compares to other strikers in the Premiership.
