Went and saw him tonight. He's pretty uncool these days, but FUKC, the man is A-MAZING. I knew he'd be good, but he blew me away, with his talent, on guitar, his incredible voice, and his performance skills. Check him out if you get the chance...

He's cooler now that he ever was - as in he's never been cool. His chart music is generally crap, but as you say he's very accomplished guitarist.

I'd see him live now but there's no way I would have seen him when he was charting - partic as JD&I. Pure shyte.

Eheh...my apologies for that. I was a naughty boy this morning :o

Was looking to start a Diesel thread or one about the recent Rock Symphony but found reading through this amusing.

Saw the Rock Symphony at Burswood Saturday night. Diesel was definitely the highlight. Man can play many a guitar (and banjo) as well as sing some great notes. His band look fit and sharp, better than ever.

Saw him supporting Midnight Oil at the Blacktown RSL, one of the Oils last ever shows. He was great! I like his song "Dig"

"If you don't want to know the score, look away now" followed by "Right on the tip of my tongue" is one of my favourite memories of footy as a kid :p

mine too, even when a commentator says that about any other sport i half expect that song to kick in

liked him from the early days, "one more time" would be my favourite
