Have you noticed the change in the way we have played in the last month?

- There are no crazy handballing out of defence every single time
- We are taking risks at the right moments
- We are handballing only when we are out numbering the opponents
- We are spotting targets with kicks even when there's no overlapping
- No "crazy turbo charge" running
- Holding up or slowing up the play well when we need to
- No soft tissue injuries from every game (TOUCH WOOD)
- We are more accountable
- We are more competitive
- Hard ball gets are high
- Loose ball gets are more close to our opposition
- Team selection is almost perfect (No JJ, Pevrille, Johns and Mal)
- Hence we are slowly getting games into our youngsters
- Because of that they are starting to show what they are capable of
- No crazy match ups by Knighter

Yep, it's going to take time for Knighta to work out the most effective game plan for our team, and last night was a step in the right direction no doubt...:thumbsu:

yer i think, at first, Knights wanted to see what level we are at trying to play a high presicion game, and based on this he has made adjustments to the plan.

I do not think the game plan has changed that much. What they did on friday night was very close to how they played against North at the start of the year.
What did change was the run from behind. When we get players running to get involved then it eliminates a lot of the crazy handball because they have targets up field to go to.
When the workrate increase's to an acceptable level then the game plan starts to happen. When they play lazy footy then we go around in circles and produce a lot of shit handballs or kicks to contests.
The carzy handball at all costs is not a part of the game plan. That comes into the game plan when players have no options up the ground to kick it to.

Very true. The players have found the right balance between handball at all costs and trusting their natural instincts.

I think Lucas coming back has helped our cause a lot, and we have a realistic target to go to in the forward line and, as seen on friday night, can release Lloyd up the ground. Our game plan was always going to improve with such a major inclusion, and if you look at who we've got in the latter half of the season we could easily have 4 or 5 more wins on our hands.
