ok car nuts whats up with my hyundai excel

its a 5 speed manual. its hard work getting the gear stick into first and sometimes second

is the gearbox ****ed?

what can i do

Buy an auto.
Back in the day they used to have crank handles on the front of cars. You had to wind the damn things up.
technology thought, screw that. Ima gonna invent electronic ignition & a starter motor.

Auto trans will do it all for you, freeing up your left hand for food/drink, sms'ing, changing cd's.. (jokes, drive safely) Ofcourse if you own an euro built car like a ford focus, they'll put the indicator on the LEFT of the steering wheel, completely f*cking you over when you want to change gears and indicate at a multi lane roundabout etc.

i had a it of a play around today and im sure the clutch is ok so it might have something to do with hydraulics. i will take it to a mechanic.
