I think so. Digby is one of those underachieving players whose fundamentals are good, and has the prospect of coming good. Judging by the way Roos fans are talking, he'd be dirt cheap, and he fits all the categories of a player we'd want to look at- KP sized, 25 is an acceptable age, can take a pack mark and he's a sandgroper of course. Also, by all accounts he's very much a team player.
I wouldn't expect huge things from him, but if we could get him for one of our out of favor midfielders or a 2nd round pick, we would have gotten ourselves a good deal. Something like Wooden/2nd Rounder, or Humm or Morrison, and we'd be doing okay.

I think he's crap. Either we get a real KPP (Hay/Michael etc) or develop what we've got. We'd be better off keeping Siera and saving on the paperwork because they are both in the barrel (near the bottom too).

yeah he could be a good prospect but we've already got a bucket full of youngs guys who we are developing into key forwards.

No thanks. Dud player who is no better than a lot of our youngsters. Would be behind McDougall, Gaspar, Staker, Haynes and Lynch in terms of tall forwards.

I wouldn't be too annoyed if he was drafted in...not for too much though, maybe a pre-season draft choice if he is out of contract ?, do the pre-season to see how he goes etc

I'd love to see him back in WA..............................lining up for the mighty Falcons.

Second round far too high of a price to pay.
As has been said - Digby is pretty useless, particularly seeing as we've got some good prospects.
Never trade for another teams draft mistakes.

As I said in the other thread, I don't see the need for any more recruiting of Damien Adkin's type developement players......
If we did any tradign it would be only for top tier players.

I would make a go of it at Drew Petrie before even touching Digby Morell with a 10-ft pole as a prospect to draft into the club (in regards to marking-forwards from the kangas).
