I missed this, did anyone see it?

Hutchy talking about the telecast after the game when the “lock down camera” showed Dimma giving the players a massive spray. He (Hutchy) was cranky that

A- It was riveting telly and the commentators ignored and talked over it.

B- And more importantly, why did Dimma deliberately make the spray public knowing he was in front of the live TV camera and not take them behind closed doors.

He must have been filthy at our last quarter capitulation. One thing about Dimma, he wears his heart on his sleeve, first the “Soul destroying” comments against Adelaide, and now this. Wouldn’t be surprised we come out breathing fire next Friday night. Love to see the spray on youtube.

We had the upper hand coming into the last quarter and then failed to score a goal, we played 3 very average qtrs of football. Deserved it.

The commentators spoke over the top of it, although Dimmas voice was very faint. If they shut up you would have been able to hear him with the volume loud. I was actually wondering if we were meant to hear anything from him at all? He wasnt too animated although that small blonde haired guy from ONE did say that he heard dimma say something along the lines of "I believed in you, did you believe in yourselves?"

Bit misconstrued, was more speaking in terms of what you said Hutchy was saying in the OP, so probably should have said Hutchy rather than OP.

Probably to show supporters that even though we are young and inexperienced we will not be satisfied with performances like that. Scoreboard was close, but Blue essentially spanked us.

True, but that’s something you can associate half dozen games in if we are playing like shit, but I found it strange after the very first game.

He was absolutely no witches hat. Drove most of our rebound from half back. Betts got away from him a few times but it could have been a lot worse than 3 goals.

I'm pretty sure Dimma would also be aware that it's generally not good practice to belittle leaders within your organization amongst the foot soldiers, far less publicly ?
