Attending court to see a good mate stand his trial today.
Crazy how a guy who in school was a captain, played the saxophone, had generally high grades and looked like he was going somewhere big, has such a life changing charge against him. Interested to see the result of today.

Yeah, was related to drugs when he turned 17/18 and ended up selling to about 30 people. Got done with one count of trafficking a dangerous drug, 2 counts of possession, and a couple of smaller charges, one being a knife he had on him. Kept selling after he got done the first time and was given bail, which played a huge factor.
The judge was going to send him away for 5 years, he said that when he read the information this morning he had in his head he was going to send him away.
However his rehabilitation was very good after he got caught on bail, and he believes he changed so he gave the large suspended sentence.
