Lets not beat around the bush. With our list management and game day tactics our coaching staff are trying to manipulate results as they are scared to win more than 4 games. I think without all this we could prob end up on 8 wins. We ARE good enough to do that. 8 wins to me = a team improving, not a team in need of 2 top picks.

On this year alone - no

But over 2.5 years of turning up to the footy knowing your team will be lucky to not get belted and half a year of turning up and hoping they don't win - hell yes!

Richmond need more help than anyone after todays effort.

Hell, if we hadn't had the injuries we've had this year, especially earlier on, with that WCE game, the Adelaide game and the Bulldogs one, and then the game against Sydney last week, I'd have given us a real shot at making the finals at this point.

We could easily have won all four of those matches, and today's game of course, and be sitting on 8 wins right now.

Yes this is why the system is stuffed. Some teams will be down the bottom due to injuries, while others due to lack of talent.

I find it funny that Richmond are so confused on their board..many posters (in that same post) say how good they are and how bad we are...they only beat us by a deaf umpires ability to hear the siren.

Richmond have noone to come back while we have...

  • Morton
  • Meeson
  • Jurrah
  • Brock
  • Sylvia
  • Garland
  • Aussie
  • Jamar
  • Strauss
  • Marric
  • Watts
  • Blease
  • Moloney

Yes Strauss, Blease and Watts probably not Best 22 yet but not playing in VFL hurts their development.

I think if no injuries in our team we would be on about 7 wins... however this is where we are and it wont be changed. So why not try and capitalise on the stupid system.

The crux of the problem sits with the AFL not the MFC

Until it is changed it will remain a problem for any club sitting on the bottom of the ladder

They do struggle, and we certainly have more to come back than they do but I will say Foley and Tuck are part of their starting midfield.

tuck should be but he was dropped not injured so i dont think that you can include him in that

Well we have four points from one of our worst game of the year(excluding rnd1). We (RFC) have embarked on the youth line this season since Wallace's departure and we still have a fair bit to come back in the engine room which was our weak link today. We still have players like Foley, Tuck, Collins, Coughlan to come back into your midfield. We definately got away with one today:o.

I look forward to our next few years of battles in two sides that will/should both be pretty competetive in next few years.:)

(Oh and yes you probably do deserve a PP if you qualify, you too have also been down for too long.)

Of course we do. We've been shit house for 3 years.

Let's get some quality in the team but of course we've got supporters like Pipefitters who are happy to beat the bottom 4 but lose to everyone else. Happy to finish 12th. Pathetic.
