he is a quailty round the ground an tap ruckmen can drift forward an back unlucky this year with injury was unlucky last year not to be all australia. he is our number 1 for sure

Patto
young ruckmen with a huge heart i love this guy he come in this year with little exp in ruck got killed in the first 8 games in the ruck but kept giving it his all plays his heart out every game grow alot an will be our back up ruckmen an can also play forward. will be a quailty player for many years to come

Angus Graham
only played a few games this year then hurt his ankle but from what i saw he is a good tap ruckmen an young so improve an put on a few more kilos
will like to see him play a few more games next year

Graham Polak
i know he isn't a ruckmen but took the ruck a few games this year to help out patto did a alright job aswell, the good this about polak is when he rucks our young backline get more exp on better players win win.

i don't doubt we need more depth in our ruck but we don't really need a walk in starting 22 like jolly, wood or someone like that we need a few more tall rare kids we can mold to fit our team there are a few in the draft over 200cm which would be great they don't need to be star players just players with the right learning enviroment we need a ruckmen who is young an will learn an listen alot like patto this year

We need a ready made backup. Someone who can cover for an injury to Simmonds or Pattison.

That doesn't necessarily mean targetting a highly priced prospect like Wood. Not even someone like Meesen who is no proven back-up.

As horrible as it sounds we need a Knobel / Marsh. Someone who is 26+, been around, can play 5-6 games if needed and cost us a pittance if we don't need the insurance.

In addition to that we draft or rookie an 18 year old as a long-term option safe in the knowledge that he will spend 2008 at Coburg.
