as long as it doesnt include not naming ALL emergencies i will be ok .I only got to name 1 but i had all 30 players

No, you just have to have 30 players.

I'm just saying in terms of if anyone got caught midway between trades, ie had two players in the defenders out to fit someone in the forwards in, then was going back to add another defender and got caught short.

I quite often did this when changing my side. I assume others probably did also.

I dunno how it didn't happen to me, every time I tried to change it crapped itself, but when I got back in again I had the full 30.
