Will we see an influx of Freo supporters coming here to discuss the Mighty Purple??

If you're a regular Dockerlander new to BF - welcome!!

... and start counting to see how long it takes some supporter form another club to come here and say rude things about Dockerland...

(Of course, now that I've said this, when they do it will have little impact, as they are doing what we expect and it will come as no surprise... Maybe they should do us all a favour and not bother.)

Blockerland...nah...I dont go there...........undemocratic :o
All 6 of my posts deleted........... they dont like "Claremont Dockers"

regular dockerland, seldom big footy...but now i have to find another way.

i think they're rubbing it ina bit....the whole season i missed one freo home game...v the kanagroos..i didnt know until dockerland told me in its 'classioc match' bit that this was

parkes' 150th
the biggest score ever by the dockers

andmost significantly...clive's return

and i gave it up to go to sydney

I think the Blockerland tag is very appropriate, the goose who runs it is way over the top with his deletion of comments' some I've attempted to post were nothing more than harmlessly humorous.
It's not dissimilar to that amateur site Footygoss where they are in mortal fear of anyone posting anything detrimental to the WAFC or WAFL not to mention Dorrington or some of the other bunnies responsible for running football in WA.

I admit I was a bit surprised by Shane's editing policy at first, but I think I have a reasonable handle on it these days, and really don't mind it. Aside from the nutcase and completely off-topic stuff, the posts that are most likely to be edited tend to fall into two broad groups:

- People who lob in and start spouting the same old crap that's been said five hundred different ways before. For those people who are upset about this sort of editing, I ask this - if you go (say) to a function and met a bunch of people you didn't know, do you spend a bit of time listening and getting a feel for the flow of a conversation, or do you blunder in swinging both elbows and trying to be the instant life of the party?

- People saying things that cross the line from humour (good-natured or otherwise) to something offensive (generally in the potty-mouth context). Or something potentially actionable - you really don't want to be caught up in a defo argument. Trust me on this.

No one likes it but you accept it as it is what makes Dockerland flow.

Carny has summarised it pretty well - Shane does not censor the idea. Carny and a few others post anti-Docker posts but in an appropriate way.

I get stuck into Barra and Shane always edits it (it becomes a bit of a game at times).

Shanes editing can be over the top and I find it irritating sometimes at his inconsistency but its a good point Moo makes above.
