Good anoon there chaps,

Just wondering if anyone uses thier Mobile Broadband to connect to online gaming. I found a site that walks you through setting up for xbox live http://reabo.co.uk/_tutorials/xbox-live-with-a-dongle.aspx but cant try it out yet as my 360 is at microsoft with the RROD. If anyone does how is the lag and what sort of bandwidth would you be looking at using in a typical 2-3 hour session in something like a Gears match

cheers

From what I know about Mobile Broadband the ping is too horrible to actually get anything that would be lag free.

You get a ping of anywhere between 150-300ms. Which is terrible.

If you can it is HIGHLY reccomended to use a proper modem/router and an Ethernet cable or even Wi-Fi to game online.
