Ok guys, here's one! You've met someone and there is a mutual attraction, however one of you isnt after a relationship.... so you begin "seeing" each other casually. Do these situations ever eventuate into something more when the time becomes right? In my opinion, they do not!

Of course they can eventuate into something. Some of the strongest relationships can start from a casual relationship/friendship.
 
I should have worded that differently and said, in my EXPERIENCE, not opinion... but then thats just most likely got something to do with my godawful personality, eh Hank? :p

Well if the time is right, both parties are comprtable with each other, the one who isn't after a relationship changes their mind, etc etc why not? If the other party actually didn't want a relationship as such, i would respect her wishes and be cool about it. I would either wait longer, get her p*ssed then make a move :D, or find someone else.

I guess my point is, if one party doesnt want a relationship, but the one that does settles for just a casual "screw" and catch up every now and then, arent they just giving that other person all they want, so why would they want to commit to a relationship? Do you know what i mean?

Yeah i get ya. I am one to respect a girls wishes and sure sex is good, but some guys at times actually want more than that and would like a relationship along with the screwing. If i was the one wanting relationship, i admit i would settle for a casual screw and a catch up now and again, but it would be nice to actually go out with them too. If i was the not want a relationship side, well if the girl really wants one, i will most definetly consider it.

Ok, but its usually the woman that wants more than just a screw, yes? So if i guy says BB666 i dont want a relationship, but i do, do i just remain friends with him in the hope that something more will come of it, or do i shag him on a casual basis and hope that i will get what i want and not be heart broken cos he is just a pig who wants a strings free shag? (this is all hypothetical of course :D )
