Dog Names

Looking at a getting a male pet dog soon and pretty keen to name this boy after one of our many guns. We were walking tonight and tossed up a few- MAX, HARRY, JIMMY came up. Anybody ever named their pets after our guns? Or is that insulting/degrading? I don't think so. We bought 2 CATS early this year after our 11yo dog was stolen, and my son said it was an omen, THE YEAR OF THE CATS. Right he was.

The best place to get pets I think. Reasonable price, the vet checks them over and they're often strays or kittens/puppies of strays. Win win.

..With dogs you probably have to be a little more careful that there's no temperament issue. But if you're mindful of that, then there shouldn't be a problem.

And look at Max NOW! HE LOVES IT!!! (..that's how he sleeps al the time, by the way.)

Yeah I know... either there or Lort Smith or The Lost Dogs Home. Geeze.. i did work experience at Lort Smith back in... 1995.. week after the Grand Final ().. was sad to see all the poor doggies and cats needing homes. And yes, the are reasonably priced and come micro chipped, de-sexed, shots, etc... if you had to pay for all that separately i think it would come to over $300 at least.

Hehehe Give Max a pat for me. It sounds like he is similar to a cat I had years ago- Tiger. Really cheeky thing he was.. and loved his sleep too.
