He actually announced it bout 2-3months ago, but no one really gave a damn.

It's incredible to think he debuted in the same year as Cousins and was awarded the "best rookie" at our club ahead of Cuzz(despite Cuzz getting the Norwich rising star:rolleyes: ).

Really?? Didnt know that, Cuz has played around 110 games or so, so considering Donners was injured a lot he couldnt have played more than 50 games? Pity though he couldve been really good.

Has he retired from WAFL footy too?

Anyway, thanks for the service you gave to the club Donners! Maybe Buszan can take his spot on the list next year?

Thanks Donners! :)

Career Games 68
Career Goals 67

Always a favourite of mine, with the ability to plug gaps all over the ground. Strong mark and good kick on goal. Plus star in several Shearers Menswear ads at the same time ;)

Given his late debut and serious knee injuries, he should be proud of his AFL career.

And I think that best first year award was justified ;)

EF :)

A useful tall and a very handy overhead mark at both ends. He has caused other teams trouble from time to time - remember one game against Richmond at Subiaco where he kicked a bag, and has also caused Essendon some trouble (I think it was the seagull game)

Good on you Donnelly, all the best for the future
