WOW - how good is this?

Long time listener, first time caller here

People here dont like Mick - but I do

Lots of people here do like Begley - I reckon you overate him

All I ask is the ridiculous bias against Mick Doughty is toned down from many Crows fans on this forum in the future - you know who you are ;)

He certainly has come back from a shocker last week. Good on him.

Begley is class, just needs to find some form in the SANFL. Did some good desperate things in the last quarter though, and has great disposal.

i'll be the first to admit that i've been highly critical of doughty.
and i'll be man enough to say that he acquitted himself well today. a much improved performance from last weeks.

Doughty is my favourite player, don't know why I just like his style.

begley better hopes that he gets another chance or that could be it. Was worst on ground for us

I have been critical of Doughty's softness. He is still one of the softest players on our list. However, I do give credit where credit is due. His first half against WC was very good and today he played very well. Its good to see match committee didn't over-react and drop him. He came good today.

I have been sticking up for Dogga, but thought he should have been dragged last week after that soft effort last week when Caracella marked the ball. My thoughts were the same this week with a Skipp effort. Dogga's attack on the ball was great today & he has his role in defence to run te ball out.

Begley is better player than he showed today & is just out of form/confidence since the Byron incident. Should be playing for Sturt until he comes good.

Saved me a lot of typing there DT with a very accurate summary of the whole thing - particularly the point you made about Doughty looking so miserable after the win over Collingwood.

That was his saving grace IMO after that very poor effort - he publicly acknowledged it and today repaid the faith in him.

Begley at his best is a very valuable player, but he'd be well advised to concentrate on his footy and performing at his best - he hasn't fired too many shots in anger so far this year.
