His interview on Hawthornfc.com.au, says he'll be right to start full training next week and is available for selection round 1 of the season, but obviously he'll be too unfit for a senior birth until deep into the sesaon.

Recovery has been better than expected.

Whats he doing on a motorbike after breaking his pelvis? Has he fully recovered from it already?
 
Today he didnt look as though he was suffering from anything. Certainly his hands are ok cos he was doing some boxing with Ellis at training. I wouldve thought that having stitches in his hands might have prevented him from doing that.

The stiches are probably out by now. He got them when he had the accident with the motor bike about 3-4 weeks ago.

Sounds like ur the one with homer's inteligence mate...

Beau got a couple of stiches in his hand and didn't have scratches and scars all over his face as prevoiusly rumoured..lol

the other day he was turning right to come out of carey grammar and was cleaned up by another car.. he didnt reverse into a tree as the car is "stuffed"

he has fully recovered from all his injuries that he has unluckily received in the past months and is certainly putting his availibility out for round 1 of the AFL season...

It was reported he drove into a tree and crashed his bike in another incident so I don't know if he was a victim or an idiot.
"Dowler, who turned 18 only last month and has been on a modified fitness program on account of his pelvic injuries, fell from a friend's trailbike over the Christmas break, receiving cuts and abrasions and a hand injury that required stitching."

After surviving one crash which broke his pelvis he deserves to be called an idiot if he was at fault.

Thank god Hughes didn't select this guy and picked Kennedy! :thumbsu:

mate when both are at full fitness we'll see who the better player is..i'm not even a hawks fan but i reckon dowler will be much better
who knows they might even much up on each other sometimes during the year..

he's at the club to play football mate and there's no doubting his ability that he can play...so what should the rest matter???
i can name plenty of AFL players that dont have much between their ears but yet are sensational footballers...
