Family Day: cancellation
This year's planned Family Day to be held the week before the start of the season has been cancelled.

Anyone know why?

No wouldnt have a clue. I went to a taskforce meeting last monday night and campbell rose was there as well. We asked him about it and he didnt have an answer for us. But im pretty sure they are going to have a intra club match on the 22nd of march they have a jumper presentation thing again (dont ask me why).

Well, i know, but you didn't hear this from me. Mel, i was Leonie from Bewick's daughter at that taskforce meeting

Anyway, in the players contracts it apparently says that they can have the weekend off before the start of the season. The club couldn't refuse them because it's in the contract, this is what i heard, may not be true.

Oh ok then. Someone told me that there was going to b a intra club match instead of the family day. So i dont know if that will happen or not.

Well when does anything go to plan down there?

If it is in their contracts Im all for letting have the day off its gonna b the last one for a while!

As for the presentation of jumpers.....they can never get that jumper given to them often enough!!

Same here. But they should never cancel a family day.They should move it to another day cause that is when we get a lot of our members signing up.

I agree mel40 that they shouldnt cancel it......however they should be more organised....and check this kind of thing out first

Its ok......the Male Review will still be on girls....the guys will break their contracts if need be
