Dr.Phil just appeals to middle age women who think all that spiritual/psychological garbage he spits out actually helps. He has to bring his son and wife in just to seem that he's successful at what he says. Most of the psychology he uses is good in theory, but his attitude and his catch phrases are a load of nonsense.
