who you thick will be some of the players picked up from left field that you don't expect or havn't been mentioned so far.

I will nominate Matthew Spangher – 191, 77. Wasn’t invited to screening camp but hasn’t shown glimpses of talent on occasions. Did a great job in defence for Eastern in the finals, played a lot of his footy at Xavier during the year. Raw but has promise, can play TAC Cup next year.

At 191cm and with great endurance could be very handy late in the draft.

a real dark horse for this years draft would b renwick watts 193cm strong athletic player who was forced to play full forward all year when rather he should of been somewhere where he could use his athletic ability... runs a 20m sprint in 2.8 and had the highest vertical leap at the state screening
west indian backround and a real roughy...just interesting to c if anyone will take a punt on him.

Good picks Insider 2000 and footy123 - I reckon both Watts and Spangher are right in contention for a later pick. Spangher for sure, alot of clubs showing interest and looking to nab him now before next year.

I'm not convinced about Renwick yet! How do u know his results fot the state screening, i didn't think they had been released yet!! What did he get for the vertical leap?

Yeah Spangher is a bloke who has had no mention on sites such as Footydraft.com, but has had a lot of interest shown toward him by several clubs. Just needs to put on some weight because he can run all day and could eventually play key position. Apparently Hawthorn and West Coast have both shown plenty of interest, with Hawthorn a strong chance to take him at around pick 55.

Spangher is a very talented player who IMO and also easterns was one of the best in their grand final defeat, playing in defense. Nice_and_neitz hit the nail on the head there as spang did play a lot of quality school footy dominating many games mainly from CHB. Good prospect and is still 17 and doesn't turn 18 till mid next year so if he doesn't get picked this year should go next year.

Shaun Mooney from Gippsland Power, meduim sized defender who did well in the key postions of the backline, got in the best just about every weekend

Mooney would be a real roughie. My roughie is Byron Murphy from Frankston.
