Draft machine and pre season draft

does anyone know when it's going to be updated?
and what pick do we have in the pre season draft?

Depends how many selections the teams that finished beneath us make in the national draft.

provided GWS only take 1 pick like GC last year and not all 5. Then it's pick 6. But others may not take one.

Possibly. We can push someone into the draft like Macaffer/Ray. Or you can get a bunch of kids to come down like we did when we selected Grimes. Gets a bit harder now to push players in because we are climbing the ladder and our pick is later. The order is reverse ladder order but this year GWS have the first 5 picks i believe (not that they will use them all)

i'd say macaffer is more of a chance to come to us becuase of the salary cap issues, and also because he can play at HF. Ray thoguh i do rate, good alll rounded player IMO

I think Macaffer would be a good fit. Big bodied Half Forward would be handy for us right now.

Would rather go all out kids this year & try to get as many mids we can even in the rookie draft & 1 Rookie ruckman.

I would love to see 8 new mids on our senior/rookie list

Need to replace Nason,Jackson,Tuck,White ASAP

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I thought last year Gold Coast had the first five rookie picks and weren't even in the PSD. I'd assume the same this year, meaning we have pick 6 if all the teams below us use a pick.

I think that was the year before. 2009 draft. 2010 draft they had the PSD and GWS had rookie draft. 2011 GWS will have PSD draft and rookies back to normal.

Pretty sure GC could have participated in the PSD last year but chose not to.

gold coast picked up nathan ablett with there one and only pre season pick..... i think macaffer and ray and other delisted players will nominate for the national draft ,and if not picked up automatically go in the pre aeason draft,,, this is why i think we wanted pick 26 in the national draft so we could draft a ready made senior player with that pick. I cant see any otther reason why we exchanged picks so late with only minutes to go befor the deadline.. Me thinks we have already promised a certain player we will pick him up with that pick its just my way of looking at pick 26 and why we wanted it ??

that is what psd and later picks(re-rucks maybe if warranted) is for . too much prospective talent around pick 26 to be wasting a pick on a project ruck or senior player!

Id hope they go with 2 young players with the first 2 picks my preference is 2 mids or mid and ruck.If dimmer gets a mature player with 1 or 2 he is only tryn to look after his own contract extension.
