Don't be fooled.Bryce gibbs was taken at number 1 in a superdarft and no doubt he'll be a good player in the future, but looking back now in hindsight now Selwood would have been number 1 in last yaer's draft by the way he has played this year.
So judging that,it's hard to judge what a team will get.This year's draft is said to be not as strong as last year,so then apart from say Kreuzer (who evidently is a collingwood supporter and so is his family) you don't really know how good these players will turn out.

To be fair to Bryce. Joel plays for the best team in the comp, has had not had the entire hopes of a club pinned on him and is well supported by his coach.

1 year is not enough to judge a player and i believe Leunberger will the best player from that draft anyways. But bryce and joel will be well up there.

Interesting to here David King at the half time break, he was saying most elite footballers have a bit of arrogance or cockiness about them & that's the main reason they achieve better than the average footballer.

Its one thing i really like about Jack Riewoldt. He is so cocky. I wasnt at all pleased we drafted him as he will only ever be a third tall but i love his attitude and have no regrets now.

Can see him as captain of our club in the future.

Few other players could really take a leaf out of his book like Hughes, Meyer and Tambling. Give them some attitude and confidence and they will be stars of the game.

If, and when, we take Cotchin at No.2 I honestly don't think we should start him in the senior team straight away. In the pre-season cup we should give him a couple of games, but despites his form we shouldn't play him in the seniors until no earlier then round 5 or so, as I think part of the learning process is playing VFL football
