i acually think atlanta did ok getting Josh Childress,so im putting him down as my early rookie of the year candidate especially if s-jax goes,Sonics did well as well getting Robert Swift, there arent too many 18 year-old 7-ft 245 guys around.he could be quite good in a few years

Most Seattle fans are upset by their drafting. Would have preferred Jefferson, who is more developed, and will probably contribute quicker.
Seattle can't afford to carry a bloke for 2-3 years, they don't have the depth nor the talent.

Bulls did well, not for getting Deng and Gordon (hard to miss with picks 3 and 7), but for taking Chris Duhon. Hope they give him a good home.

Sickens me that both Duke boys went to Chicago. Oh well...give Chicago a couple of years to develop them and they'll find a new home.

i can see where your coming from but I think that seattle realise they dont have the players at the moment to contend so they are willing to wait that 2-3 years for him to develop.

could be another white stiff though, too hard to tell at his age

For those who are curious, I was one who went ballistic when we drafted him, and over the next 5 hours, have done a slow 180 and am actually content with the pick. To me it shows we are content to rebuild and not to try and patch up a few cracks and target the 8th seed.

Still would have loved Jefferson or Snyder, but I was hasty to judge this pick without truly weighing it up.

I am going with Utah on this one...

Humphries and Snyder can help immidiately and both are underated players... Was Karl Malone drafted at 14 too?

Anyway they may just suprise people...Humphries for ROY (there you go P&P this could turn out to be one of the more prophetic statements or one of more rediculous and you may want to save it for future use :) )

Not sold on Gordon but extremely happy with Deng and Duhon!

Gordon is the best out of the three IMO, and the most NBA ready.

Oh Im not disputing that he is a good player but Im disputing the fact that we chose him. I hope Im wrong and he plays really well for us but he wasnt the type of player we needed.

Still we drafted very well and got a steal with Deng at 7.

I rate Swift very highly, just think he would have been better served going to a team who can afford to bring him along slowly.
